Sales reps & account managers
Research an account, plan a call, write the follow-up, keep CRM notes and draft proposals with the AI assistant your employer allows, which takes the typing, the lists and the first drafts. Prices, promises, who gets contacted and what reaches a customer stay with you and the people who approve them.

This course is for people who sell for a living: reps who find new customers and account managers who look after existing ones. Some of you sell to purchasing departments, some to small-business owners, some to households. The rules differ between them, and the course says where.
You will meet Marcus throughout. He is an account manager at a regional provider of business phone and internet services. He looks after a book of existing customers, among them a dental practice, a law office, a small chain of bakeries and a warehouse depot, and is also expected to bring in new ones.
Before any call there is a familiar temptation: a pile of open tabs, and a page of notes you never use. An AI assistant can make this worse, because it can write a longer page than you would ever read.
Research is finished when you have one good question for them, not when you have a page about them.
So start where nobody outside your company can look: your own records. In most companies that means the CRM, short for customer relationship management, the system where customer records and call notes live. What did they buy, what did you last talk about, is there an open support issue nobody mentioned to you. Marcus reads his own last note on the account before he opens any tool. That note often hides the real question: the thing they said they would look into, or the problem that was fixed late.
