AI for Presentations
Nine short lessons on building and giving a deck at work, with an assistant doing the splitting and drafting: the room, the ask and one sentence written before any slide, titles that say the point without claiming more than the slide shows, the lines of a long document that must survive word for word, every number traced to a named source, a reason you may use every picture, alt text and checks for people who cannot see the slides or hear you, speaker notes in your own words, the hardest fair questions heard before the day, and one prep page you open every time a deck is due.
Anyone who builds slides and presents at work, whatever the job title: team updates, pitches for a change or to a client, training sessions, reviews, a talk at a public meeting. It teaches the task, not one program; PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote and their built-in assistants differ. Nothing here needs design skills or code, and work material goes only into the tool your employer approved, with customer and colleague details taken out.
What you will practise
- A slide titled "Callbacks" that only ever grows
one point per slide, a title that says it, and every number and caveat kept
- "A plan may be offered if the customer meets the criteria below" became "customers can get a payment plan"
the rules quoted with their place in the policy, and the policy owner's review before anyone is trained
- A neat percentage and a steady rise that no report contains
every number traced to a named source, with the source line on the slide
